Wonder Woman leading lady Gal Gadot will perform at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv in May, organizers said Monday.
Last year's winner Netta is also set to perform in both the first semi-final as well as in the final – with a new song slated for release in late April.
In a press conference, Eurovision producers said the remaining 1,000 tickets for the May 18 grand final will go on sale Tuesday at 6 P.M. Israel time.
In addition to Netta, 1998 winner Dana International will perform in both the semi-final and the final. Fan-favorite Shalva Band, a group made up of special needs musicians, will perform their song "A Million Dreams" in the second semi-final, after dropping out of the running to represent Israel in the song contest due to Shabbat observance.
At the final, 1979 winner Gali Atari will be joined by 2015 winner Måns Zelmerlöw, 2014 winner Conchita Wurst, 2007 runner-up Verka Serduchka and last year's runner up Eleni Foureira in a new performance of "Hallelujah." The Idan Raichel Project will also perform their song "Bo'ee" alongside the 26 Eurovision finalists.
The first semi-final will take place on May 14, and the second two days later. Expo Tel Aviv (formerly known as the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center) will host the contest's events across two buildings.
