The upcoming elections for the 25th Knesset will be one of the most fascinating for Israel's Arab community. In the past, it was the Arab parties who would compete against each other for Arab votes in the opposition – and against the Zionist parties, who saw the Arab public as a potential voting pool. Alongside these parties was another, well-known force in the political world of Arabs in Israel: indifference and apathy toward elections.
