Israel Election Results: Most of the Votes Are Counted, So Why Don't We Have a Winner?
A day after the election, Israel is left with a surprising kingmaker, a Trump-style campaign of fraud claims, and even less certainty than at the start
As of Wednesday afternoon, approximately 90 percent of the votes in Israel's fourth election since 2019 have been counted. The results, at least for now, look like another political stalemate. The pro-Netanyahu bloc, which includes Likud; Naftali Bennett’s Yamina; the ultra-Orthodox parties and the far-right, Arab-hating, proudly homophobic party of Bezalel Smotrich, currently has 59 seats in the Knesset.
