With just days to go until his mandate to form a government expires, Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid is working to galvanize support among the bloc of parties opposed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yesh Atid’s negotiation team is expected to resume its coalition-building talks with various parties on Monday. The party has decided to try to form as many coalition agreements with anti-Netanyahu parties as possible, even though recent assessments by Yesh Atid show that Lapid does not have the majority needed to form a government.
