Predicting the outcome of any Israeli election in which any number of small moving pieces can affect the final result is about as easy as forecasting who would win a three-dimensional game of chess between Neanderthals. Tuesday’s election is even more difficult than usual to predict due to the high number of small parties hovering around the electoral threshold of 3.25 percent of the vote – and the dead heat between the pro- and anti-Netanyahu blocs.
