Shin Bet orders security at nearly highest level for Bennett, Shaked as incitement spikes. The Shin Bet security service warned that incitement against Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, Yamina head Naftali Bennett and his number 2 Ayelet Shaked has increased.

The agency ordered the police and Knesset Guard to tighten security for Bennett and Shaked.

Lapid is assigned a Shin Bet security detail since he is Israel's opposition head.

The security around Bennett and Shaked has been raised to one level below the highest, such that the security of the two MKs is now on par with that of government ministers.

Police will intensify patrols around their houses, and both will have permanent security guards based in their homes. Bennett will also use an armored vehicle for specific activities.

According to police sources who spoke with Haaretz, there is currently no specific investigation into incitement against Bennett or Shaked, but the police are collecting intelligence on the matter and monitoring online activity.
