Daylight saving time in Israel will begin Thursday night, with clocks moving forward one hour from 2 A.M. to 3 A.M.

In 2013, the Knesset approved the implementation of daylight saving time in Israel, in accordance with Europe’s schedule. Daylight saving time will begin on the Friday before March's last Sunday and will terminate on the last Sunday of October.

Manually update your phone's time

Mobile phone owners, who turned off the automatic time setting function or users who simply don't trust the automatic mechanism, can manually update their device. It is possible to switch back to the automatic settings, even after a manual setup was selected.

Android

While different Android models have different menu and settings interfaces, usually users will have to enter the general settings menu on their device or simply search for the clock settings. In the Settings menu, you should click "Date & Time." Automatic date and time should now be turned off. Next, select the appropriate time zone - Jerusalem - and manually adjust the time and date.

iPhone

In the Settings menu, click "General." Select "Date & Time" and deselect "Automatic" Next, click on the appropriate time zone and adjust the clock manually.
