Israel's Entry to the Eurovision Song Contest Leaked Online

The song chosen to represent Israel at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Lisbon in May, was leaked online Sunday morning.

The song "Toy" by musician Netta Barzilai, which was leaked online and subsequently taken down, will be aired Sunday evening on Kan, Israel's public broadcaster. The colorful track combines Gangham-style K-Pop and Mediterranean pop.

Last year, Israel landed in 23rd place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev (Portugal was the winner). Imri Ziv, also known as IMRI, represented Israel with his Mediterranean pop beat "I Feel Alive," which he sung entirely in English.

In 2016, Ukraine won 61st place Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, while Israel was ranked 14th with Hovi Star's Made of Stars.
