George Clooney, one of Hollywood's eternal bachelors, has finally met his match.
The Academy Award winning actor is engaged to British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, a graduate of Oxford and the New York University School of Law, according to several news sources. The couple was first spotted together in November 2013.
Contacted by New York Post's Page Six after Alamuddin, 36, was seen showing off an engagement ring while dining with Clooney, Cindy Crawford and Crawford's husband Rande Gerber in Malibu, Clooney's rep Stan Rosenfield stated, "I do not comment on his personal life."
Alamuddin is an adviser to former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, the special envoy to Syria. Her power resume differentiates herself from Clooney's past partners, who tended to come from the world of Hollywood.
Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993, according to USA Today, just before he was cast in the hit show "ER" and was catapulted to superstardom.
