Israeli model Bar Refaeli gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, weighing just over three kilograms (6.5 pounds).

Refaeli and her family thanked the hospital staff for the care she and her daughter, named Liv Ezra, received at Ichilov Hospital in downtown Tel Aviv.

There were no complications with the birth and both mother and daughter are in good health.

The model announced her pregnancy to the world in January with an Instagram post of a positive pregnancy test.

Adi Ezra, the baby's father, was married to Refaeli in September 2015.
