Producers say show, based loosely on Mossad agent Ben Zygier's story, will be a spy-thriller take on Thelma and Louise.
The story of Mossad agent Ben Zygier - also known as Prisoner X - will soon be served to Israeli and British audiences as a television drama series, Variety reported on Saturday.

Zygier’s hanging in Ayalon Prison rocked Israel and his native Australia when it came to light in February.
The planned program, which will be based loosely on the real story, is dubbed "Prisoner X" and will not focus on the jailed agent himself, but rather on two women left behind when he is jailed in solitary confinement. Producers told Variety it will be a spy-thriller take on “Thelma and Louise.”
The program's format has been sold to UK's Company Pictures, whose managing director said "are incredibly excited to be working alongside such a stellar array of talent… Israel has been at the forefront of some of the most original and smart television of the past few years, and it’s a huge privilege to be working with them to be bringing such an exciting idea to the screen.”
The show is being developed for Israeli screens by Tedy Productions and ADD Content Agency.
