When television industry executives and creative personnel converge on Cannes, France, for the annual MIPTV conference next month, they will be able to take part in special sessions about Israeli innovation and programming, Rapid TV News reported Tuesday.
According to the report, the Israel-minded event will feature a screening session called "Fresh TV from Israel," which will showcase "the hottest, ground-breaking content from Israel" and two additional sessions about Israeli innovation and creating successful scripted shows.
Among the Israeli shows whose formats have been adapted or exported for international audiences are "In Treatment," "Homeland," "Prisoners of War" and the "Rising Star" singing competition.
The "Focus on Israel" event is scheduled for April 7 to 10, and is expected to feature Israeli companies including Keshet, Reshet, Armoza Formats, HOT Telecommunications, Yes satellite television, United King Films and others.
