Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems said on Tuesday it won contracts worth $40 million from a European country for the supply of advanced tactical communications systems.

The contracts will be carried out over one year.

Elbit said the systems allow voice, data and video communications, enabling better situational awareness and interoperability between combat vehicles and dismounted soldiers.
