An Elbit Systems unit in the U.K. that produces unmanned aerial vehicles shut its operations on Tuesday after pro-Palestinian protesters reached the roof of one of its buildings and others chained themselves to the fence outside, media reports say.

The unit in question, Instro, produces the camera systems that enable drones to spot targets. Elbit is the subcontractor on Britain’s fleet of Watchkeeper drones, the U.K. Independent reported.

The protesters complained about Instro's business with Israel's military, the reports say.

For two days last August, nine protesters created a sit-in at, and closed down, another British unit of Elbit, UAV Engines Ltd.

Instro didn't return the Independent's calls for comment while Elbit declined to comment, the paper reported.
