Delek Israel Approves 7-year, $105 Million Deal for Tamar Field Natural Gas
Delek Israel agreed to purchase 0.46 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which means it paid a price equivalent to $6.46 per British thermal unit (BTU).
A deal by Delek Israel, part of the Delek Group, to purchase natural gas from the Tamar field over seven years worth $105 million was approved the company’s board Wednesday.
The partners in the Tamar field will begin supplying Delek Israel with the natural gas in the fourth quarter of 2014. Delek Israel agreed to purchase 0.46 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which means it paid a price equivalent to $6.46 per British thermal unit (BTU).
