Olmert Joins ex-Mossad Head, ex-IDF Chief in New Firm

Company expected to offer advice on defense matters.

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has set up a new company, together with former Mossad espionage agency chief Meir Dagan and former Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Dan Halutz. Olmert, Dagan and Halutz led Israel’s Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006.

Given who is on board, the consulting firm, dubbed EOC Partners, can be expected to offer advice on defense matters.

Olmert owns 46 percent of the firm’s shares via another company he controls. Dagan holds 13.5 percent via another investment firm he owns. The remaining 40.5 percent of the firm is controlled by a firm jointly owned by Halutz and former deputy Mossad chief Ofer Dekel.
