Kibbutz security chief: No rocket hit our area

The head of security for one of the kibbutzim in which the rocket alert was sounded Thursday told Haaretz that a rocket did not land inside the community, but confirmed that the Color Red alert siren was sounded.

Rocket alert sounded in near Gaza border

The IDF are investigating whether a rocket hit Israel Thursday afternoon after the Color Red alert siren was sounded in the south, near the border with Gaza.

Residents said they did not hear the sound of an explosion, indicating that it might have been a false alarm.
