Police deny imminent threat of Tel Aviv attack

The deployment and reinforcement of security forces in Tel Aviv on Friday were not part of a response to a threat of an imminent terror attack, but rather part of increased preparedness following a security assessment by Tel Aviv District Police, the police said. Full story

High security alert throughout Gush Dan

A high security alert was announced throughout Gush Dan on Friday following information that a terrorist may be in the area. It is yet unknown if the alert is related to Nashat Melhem, the man police believe murdered three people in Tel Aviv last Friday.

Large forces were deployed, and roadblocks were spread from Netanya to Rishon Letzion, according to Israel Police.
