Palestinians wounded in clashes in Gaza, West Bank

A Palestinian is seriously wounded by Israeli army fire during clashes near the Gaza border fence.

At the same time, nine Palestinians are wounded in clashes with security forces in the town of Qabatiya in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent reports. 

On Wednesday, Israeli security forces entered the town to identify and map out three homes belonging to Palestinian assailants who killed an Israeli border police officer near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate earlier in the day. At least 10 Palestinians were arrested, including family members of the assailants.

Clashes also erupt near Bethlehem, Bil'in and Qalqilia. (Jack Khoury)

Palestinian teen killed by IDF forces

Palestinian eyewitnesses report that a teen was shot dead by Israel Defense Forces soldiers. According to eyewitnesses, one youth appeared to be lying on the ground and another youth was handcuffed.

According to the IDF, the youth was about to throw a firebomb toward Route 60 when he was shot. Red Crescent emergency responders arrived at the scene but were not allowed to approach. Read full story
