IDF: Two Palestinians shot dead after stabbing soldiers

The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed that two Palestinians were behind the stabbing attack at the Hawara checkpoint.

According to the IDF, the two approached a group of Givati Brigade soldiers and began stabbing a soldier in his face. The forces then opened fire at the two, killing them and moderately wounding another soldier who was caught in the cross fire.

Two Palestinians reportedly killed after stabbing soldiers

Palestinian media claim two Palestinian were killed after they allegedly stabbed two Israeli soldiers in Huwara in the West Bank.

The Israeli army confirmed the stabbing took place and paramedics said the two soldiers suffered moderate and light wounds as a result. Earlier reports said gun shots were heard and that the assailant behind the attack was shot.

A stabbing attack in the West Bank has left two Israeli soldiers in their 20s wounded, paramedics said. One of the wounded sustained moderate wounds to his limbs, while the other light wounds to the face.

Stabbing reported in Hawara in West Bank

A stabbing attempt has taken place in the Huwara checkpoint in the West Bank and the alleged assailant was shot at the scene.

The report was unconfirmed, but said that gun fire was heard at the scene. It was unclear if there were any casualties.

Israeli Arab arrested in E. Jerusalem after pulling knife on police

An Israeli Arab was arrested by the Israel Police in Jerusalem's Old City after he pulled a knife on them after being asked to show identification. The police, which described the event as a "thwarted" terror attack, managed to arrest him without sustaining injuries after he pulled a knife from his shirt.

Man wounded in criminal West Bank shooting succumbs to wounds

The 45-year-old man who was shot in a criminal attack in the South Hebron Hills on Sunday morning died at Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva.

According to police, the incident was criminal in nature, and might have been a revenge killing in response to a Friday shooting attack in Hura, a Bedouin town in the Negev.

Man critically wounded in criminal shooting in West Bank

A man was critically wounded in a criminally related shooting attack in the South Hebron Hills on Sunday morning.

Shots were fired at the man's car while traveling on the road between the Sansana settlement and the Meitar checkpoint in the South Hebron Hills.

Paramedics were treating the 45-year-old man, who suffered bullet wounds to his upper body and transferring him to Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva. The man was critically wounded and unconscious.

Soldier lightly wounded in Jerusalem stabbing attack

A soldier was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem early Sunday morning. A security guard who arrived at the scene seized the assailant until police arrived.

Paramedics treated the soldier for wounds to his upper body and transferred him to a local hospital while he was fully conscious and in stable condition.
