The Jewish calendar now has two additional commemorative holidays on top of the October 7 date that had been established to mark the Hamas massacre. One is the governmental memorial day, which has been set for next Sunday, and the other is Simchat Torah on Thursday this week. On that holiday morning a year ago, some 1,200 civilians and soldiers were murdered, over 250 people were kidnapped and war broke out, the October 7 War.
