Israel's operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, and also against the Houthis in Yemen on Sunday – as well as its threats to Iran that it will be attacked with the same intensity if it joins the fighting – have a clear strategic logic: breaking the "unity of the arenas" that Iran and its regional allies have forced on Israel since the October 7 Hamas attack.
