After nearly a year of struggle that tore Israeli society apart, weakened the military and eroded Israel’s deterrence, Justice Minister Yariv Levin announced, in response to a petition filed against him in the High Court of Justice, that the Judicial Appointments Committee will be convened “within 15 days.”
