A cautious sigh of relief could be heard in Zehava Galon’s home in Petah Tikva on Election Day as the initial exit polls gave Meretz four to five Knesset seats. However, due to the borderline numbers, Galon didn’t go to sleep. And, indeed, as dawn approached the nightmare began.
