Palestinians Attacked Near Settlement; 62-year-old Hospitalized With Head Injury
The three Palestinians say several dozen settlers from nearby Ma'aleh Amos attacked them with stones, clubs and pepper spray

Three Palestinians were attacked near the West Bank village of Kisan on Tuesday, with one of them suffering an injury to his head.
According to the victims, they were attacked by dozens of masked Israelis from the nearby settlement of Ma’ale Amos with stones, clubs and pepper spray.
Police said they were investigating the case following a complaint filed by the victims. No suspects have been arrested.
The three arrived at a plot of land where settlers had erected a makeshift structure a few weeks ago, and saw a group of about 15 settlers who told them to leave, according to Ali Nabhin, one of the Palestinians who were attacked.
Nabhin said that a group of some 30 others came from Ma’aleh Amos and joined the violence.
Raja Abiat, one of the victims, was set to undergo an operation, the 62-year-old man's family said, after being hospitalized with the head injury.
The Israeli police said the settlers' structure had been evacuated.
