The Real Threat to Israel, According to Nouriel Roubini
‘Too much of Israel’s economic activities are concentrated around Tel Aviv and the center. It leads to problems,’ renowned economist Nouriel Roubini, who predicted the 2008 financial crisis, tells Haaretz
Nouriel Roubini is happy to be in Israel. “I’ve been to Israel a few times during COVID, but I had to isolate in my parents’ house. This time I can go out, meet friends,” he says. Roubini, an economics professor emeritus at New York University, is also known as Dr. Doom, the prophet who predicted the 2008 financial crisis.
