WASHINGTON – One of U.S. President Joe Biden’s closest confidantes in Congress is expected to visit Israel later this week, at a time when Jerusalem and Washington are discussing several sensitive issues in their relationship, from renewed negotiations with Iran to the potential reopening of an American consular mission serving the Palestinians in Jerusalem.
