Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump in Jerusalem Next Week to Launch Abraham Accords Caucus
The purpose of the Israeli parliament lobby is to strengthen economic, tourist and other ties with the Gulf states as well as 'formulating future agreements with other countries'

Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner is slated to convene the inaugural meeting of a special Knesset lobby for the promotion of the Abraham Accords next Monday.
According to a spokeswoman for Kahol Lavan MK Ruth Wasserman Lande, who will lead the lobby together with Likud lawmaker Ofir Akunis, the purpose of the lobby is to strengthen economic, tourist and other ties with the Gulf states as well as “formulating future agreements with other countries.”
Aside from Kushner —who helped broker the series of normalization deals with Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Sudan and currently serves as co-chair of the Abraham Accords Institute for Peace in the United States— the lobby’s launch will be attended by his wife Ivanka Trump as well as opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Knesset speaker Mickey Levy.
Last month, Kushner’s institute hosted a celebration of the accords’ first anniversary in the United States, attended by the ambassadors to the United States from Israel, Bahrain, and the UAE.
At the event, Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Gilad Erdan directly floated the possibility of Saudi Arabia becoming party to the accords one day as part of a regional alliance, while criticizing Palestinian leadership for viewing the accords as a threat instead of an opportunity.
