Arson Balloons From Gaza Spark 10 Fires in Israeli Fields
The arson balloons are adding tensions to the ongoing clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians in East Jerusalem

Ten fires broke out Saturday in southern Israel as a result of incendiary balloons launched from the Gaza Strip.
Firefighting teams brought the fires under full control with the help of the Jewish National Fund, Nature and Parks Authority, Israeli army and security personnel of the Eshkol Regional Council where the fires broke out.
On Thursday afternoon, six fires broke out in the Eshkol Regional Council as a result of incendiary balloons from Gaza.
Early last week, two balloons attached to suspicious objects were found in the agricultural fields of Kibbutz Kfar Aza and a local bomb squad neutralized them. The balloons did not cause fires and it is unclear when they landed.
These are the first fires caused by incendiary balloons since last September. Last summer dozens of incendiary balloons were found daily, and the army regularly struck Hamas targets in the Strip in response.
