On Monday, after reports that disgraced WeWork founder Adam Neumann helped “craft Jared Kushner’s Middle East peace plan,” BuzzFeed News’ technology reporter Ryan Mac tweeted that he believes he found Neumann’s contribution to Kushner’s Peace to Prosperity Workshop hosted this June in Bahrain.

Mac wrote on Twitter, “I think I found the video that WeWork's Adam Neumann advised Jared Kushner to create in order to promote peace in the Middle East during a June conference in Bahrain. I can't believe I just wrote that sentence.”

Kushern introduces the short clip at the conference saying, "This is not a conference where people come to benefit themselves. You all have big responsibilities and a lot of places you could be, and the fact that you're showing up to do this shows that you care about the region, and you care about doing good in the world."

Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman, who first reported on the Neumann-Kushner conntection wrote that Neumann believed WeWork “was even capable of solving the world’s thorniest problems. Last summer, some WeWork executives were shocked to discover Neumann was working on Jared Kushner’s Mideast peace effort. According to two sources, Neumann assigned WeWork’s director of development, Roni Bahar, to hire an advertising firm to produce a slick video for Kushner that would showcase what an economically transformed West Bank and Gaza would look like.”

Neumann and his wife have reportedly been long time friends of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump and even invited the couple to Rebekah's extravagant 40th birthday bash in Italy.
