Israeli security forces arrested a 19-year-old Palestinian late Thursday who is suspected of stabbing and moderately wounding a reserve soldier near the West Bank city of Nablus earlier in the day.

The suspect, a resident of the village of Jama'in, was apprehended by members of the police, the border police and the army in the vicinity of Huwara, a village south of Nablus. Palestinian reports identified him as Muaz Ahmad Al-Haj Ali, 19.

Soldiers in the area responded to the stabbing and opened fire at the assailant. A bystander, a 26-year-old woman, was caught in the crossfire, sustaining light injuries to the leg. She and the reservist were taken to Beilinson Hospital in the Israeli city of Petah Tikva.

In a tweet following the Palestinian suspect's arrest, Defense Minister Avidgor Lieberman wrote that "outstanding intelligence and operational work has led to the capture of the terrorist hours after the terrorist attack …."

Lieberman also commented on the ongoing manhunt for another Palestinian, Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na'alwa, who on Sunday shot up the offices of the Alon Group, where he had been working, in the Barkan industrial zone in the West Bank, killing two Israelis. "The account with him will be settled quickly," Lieberman vowed.

Sunday's attack took the lives of Ziv Hajbi, 35, and Kim Yehezel Levengrond, 29. A 54-year-old woman was moderately wounded in the shooting.
