Hundreds of Israelis participated Saturday in the weekly "March of Shame" against alleged corruption by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government. This is the ninth week in a row the rally has been held in Tel Aviv, after initially taking place for almost a year outside the house of Israel's attorney general, who protesters claim is shielding Netanyahu from police investigations.

Additional protests were reported in the north in Haifa, Afula and even Rosh Pina. Some protesters also continued to demonstrate outside the attorney general's home in the Tel Aviv suburb of Petah Tikva.

Elik Ron, a former police command, spoke in Tel Aviv and said that "Netanyahu knows how deep he's in. I only hope that he'll soon be caught in law enforcement's net" and face justice.

Also planning to attend the Tel Aviv rally was a group of supporters of the boycott Israel movement. This is not the first time the small group planned to attend and in the past they have scuffled with protesters who rejected their message and pushed them out of the main march.

The number of protesters has decreased in recent weeks. During the first few weeks of the rallies, tens of thousands of Israelis demonstrated in a number of different locations. More recently, only thousands have been coming to the rallies.
