The womans relatives say David Nahum was violent toward his wife, while a relative of his denies this. Neighbors say they were unaware of any problems between them. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The couple had two children together and two children from previous marriages. Yossi Ajami, a relative of Nahum, said the stabbing took place right after the couples son, a soldier, had left the house. We were together at a memorial for his brother last Friday. We talked and laughed. Im in shock now. Two weeks ago I ran into his wife at the mall. There was no tension between them.
A neighbor of the couples said: I dont know of any violence. I know David as a good man, a good neighbor. I never saw any problems in all the 12 years Ive lived here.
