Ultra-Orthodox zealots, who protested outside the house of IDF Manpower Directorate commander Brig. Gen. Moti Almoz in Kfar Tavor on Friday, also hung up posters around the town denouncing the senior officer in extremely harsh and offensive language. One of these posters read "Your end will be bitter like that of Hitler and friends." The police opened an investigation into incitement charges.

"The Lord will exact he revenge of the sons and daughters of Israel, whose souls were burned in the army of forced conversion by soul merchant head of the Manpower Directorate," one of the posters written in opposition to the conscription of ultra-Orthodox men read. Another said "Moti Almoz who sells souls for greed, when will you stop burning souls of the sons and daughters of Israel in the crematoria of Auschwitz – the army of forced conversion Your end will be bitter like that of Hitler and friends."

In a conference in Haifa University Friday, Almoz said that what was writer was serious and needs to be condemned. He also said that "resistance and criticism needs to be taken with understanding." According to Almoz "There is no problem with criticism. The IDF isn't above criticism. It is just that there is a proper form and way." Almoz stressed that the posters would have no effect on policy towards the ultra-Orthodox zealots. "That group needs to be dealt with harshly," he said.

Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot spoke with Almoz and expressed his disgust with the attack on his person. "I call on law enforcement authorities to take action to catch those responsible for this ugly act," the chief of staff said according to an IDF spokesman press release, adding that the army would not be deterred by these written attacks.
