Four Dead and Three Seriously Injured in Head-on Collision in Northern Israel
Two men and two women were killed in the crash between a van and a passenger car took place near Carmiel.

Two men and two women were killed and three others seriously injured in a head-on collision between a passenger car and a passenger van in the north near Carmiel on Monday.
Two of the dead are from the Galilee village of Jish. A third is from the Circassian village of Rehaniya, also in the north. The fourth fatality was a woman in her 60s who died on the way to the hospital.
"Unfortunately in the passenger car there two men and a woman without signs of life," said Shmuel Avraham of the United Hatzalah emergency rescue service, speakling before the death of the fourth victim. He added that there were about ten people in the van, with injuries ranging from serious to light. They were treated at the scene, and some were then taken by ambulance or helicopter to hospitals, he added.
Magen David Adom reported that they were transported to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa and Ziv Hospital is Safed.
