Two cases of suspected murder occurred in the Israeli-Arab cities of Umm al-Fahm and Kafr Qasem overnight on Friday.

A 26-year-old resident of Umm al-Fahm in northern Israel was shot overnight on Friday during a wedding in the city. The suspect, a local resident in his 40s, turned himself in to the police.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old local resident was found shot to death in a car in Kafer Qasem in the center of the country. Police have begun investigating the incident.

The victims have been identified as Rabal Abu Jaber of Kafer Qasem and Hussein Mahajna of Umm al-Fahm. In the Umm al-Fahm incident, another man aged 30 was also shot and was moderately wounded. The suspect was interrogated, and the Haifa Magistrate's Court extended his remand by six days.
