Police Investigate Suspected Murder After Teen Dies of Stab Wounds in Northern Israel

The 17-year-old was found unconscious with wounds to his upper body; he was evacuated to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are investigating a suspected murder after a 17-year-old was stabbed to death in the north Israeli city of Afula.

The teenager was found in the Givat Hamore neighborhood of Afula on Saturday morning. His body showed serious signs of violence.

He was taken to Haemek Hospital in serious condition, where he died of his wounds.

A Magen David Adom paramedic reported that he saw an unconscious youth of around 17 lying on the road, with wounds to his upper body. The paramedics treated the victim before evacuating him to the hospital.

Police have closed the area and are gathering evidence.
