Two Palestinian gunmen shot down outside Jerusalem Old City

Two armed Palestinians were shot dead Sunday evening after opening fire on Israelis security forces outside East Jerusalem's Old City.

Armed with home-made Carl Gustav-style rifles, the two approached a group of police officers and soldiers at the Damascus Gate and began to shoot, but the forces responded with gunfire, killing the gunmen. No security forces were hurt.

Palestinian Shot Trying to Stab Soldiers in East Jerusalem

A Palestinian man attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at a checkpoint in southeastern Jerusalem on Sunday, and was subsequently shot and later died of his wounds.

The Palestinian arrived at the Masmuria checkpoint near Har Homa in East Jerusalem, where according to police he ran toward Military Police soldiers while wielding a knife. One of the policemen shot and wounded him, police added.

No Israel security personnel were wounded in the incident.

Two Palestinian Teens Killed in West Bank Clashes With IDF

Two Palestinians were killed by the Israel Defense Forces in an exchange of fire north of Jenin on Sunday morning.

A reserves force arrived at the West Bank separation barrier near the village of Araka, the army said, after a lookout identified stone-throwing in the area. According to the army's report, the reserve soldiers were fired at when they arrived on the scene.

None of the soldiers were wounded in the incident.
