Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat threatened Sunday that the Palestinians would disband the Palestinian Authority and return it to Israeli sovereignty, after Israel said it would freeze the transfer of the tax money it collects for the Authority.

Speaking to Army Radio, Erekat called the Israeli witholdment of the tax money, a response to the Palestinian bid to join the Internatioanl Criminal Court, a war crime and collective punishment.
