WATCH: Netanyahu Doing Pre-election PR With National Soccer Squad?
PM shows up to celebration amid rumors that an early Knesset election is on the horizon.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed up in the locker room of the Israeli men's national soccer team on Sunday night after it defeated Bosnia 3-0.
Netanyahu took time out from the deepening coalition crisis, and rumors of an early election on the horizon, to visit with the triumphant players and upload the video to his official YouTube page.
Finance Minister Yair Lapid made sure to be photographed at the game, too, adding fodder to the rumor mill that the country's top politicians are gearing up to go into full election mode.
