American Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor, singer and musician Hal Linden now splits his time between performing - and speaking on behalf of the Jewish National Fund.

Born in the Bronx as Harold Lipshitz in the 1930s, Hal Linden is an American Emmy and Tony award-winning actor, and also a singer and musician whose career has spanned more than 65 years with memorable roles on stage, television and film, as well as a cabaret-style variety show with which he tours nationally. Perhaps best known for his lead role on ABC’s hit television series “Barney Miller,” which aired from 1975-1982, Linden has also been serving as spokesman for the Jewish National Fund since 1997.
