Winter storm Elpis, which hit Israel on Wednesday, ended Thursday morning after dropping 70 to 100 millimeters of rain in the north and up to 25 centimeters (10 inches) of snow in Jerusalem and the Gush Etzion settlement bloc in the West Bank.

But though Elpis is gone, rain will continue throughout the weekend.
