When Donald Trump said last summer that he would win 98 percent of the vote if he ran in the Israeli elections, no one took him seriously, but that was also true for his assertion that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and his fans would still adore him. He’s proven the latter beyond a shadow of a doubt, and he wasn’t far off the mark about the former, either. It’s a matter of speculation how Trump might fare against Benjamin Netanyahu, but he would certainly smite Joe Biden to smithereens if the U.S. elections were held in Israel today.
