The long lines that form at Lebanon’s gas stations every day have recently been joined by military vehicles. They are being forced to wait in line because many army bases have run out of gas.
This week, Qatar promised aid to the Lebanese army, which was never needed help before. Every month for the next year, it will send the army 70 tons of food so that the soldiers, whose meat rations were recently cut, can at least eat decently.
