Following several hours of contradictory and confusing statements, Israel finally issued an official response on Monday to the incident in Cyprus: Behind the latest foiled attempt to harm Israeli citizens in Cyprus stands Iran. The backdrop for the attempt was related to security issues. Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi, who lives in Cyprus part-time, was not the intended target.
