“We’re confused, we’re frightened and we want real answers,” says a relative of the Military Intelligence officer who died under mysterious and tragic circumstances in a military prison about three weeks ago. The defense establishment that investigated and is still investigating the matter – the IDF information security division, which is subordinate to Military Intelligence, and the Military Police investigative unit – knows how to exploit such situations in order to drop hints, with the support of the judicial system, to instill fear and to try to deny the family any sliver of information.
