Immigrating to Israel Made Me Renounce Judaism

It’s been three years since I arrived in Israel, embarking on what I thought would be a journey to explore my roots, and to live and work in the country in which I was born. But the combination of a degrading immigration process and constant questions about my background has made me feel less Jewish than ever. In fact, I now don’t feel Jewish at all.
