Hamas Likely Behind the Rocket Fire From Lebanon to Israel. A Wide-scale Conflict Is Still Far Off
Although the hours-long gunfight in the Bedouin town of Rahat may seem divorced from recent events, there’s a direct line between it and the recent terror attacks in Israel
The rocket fire at the western Galilee early Monday apparently reflects a Palestinian attempt to expand the arena for the current confrontations with Israel. It’s not the first time that Palestinian organizations have pursued a similar strategy. Nevertheless, the fact that the rocket fire didn’t cause casualties – and at the moment things don’t appear to be heating up significantly on other fronts – leaves things more or less as they were.
