Israel’s LGBTQ community justifiably popped champagne corks and celebrated Sunday after the High Court of Justice ruled that the state must allow same-sex couples and single men to become parents through surrogacy. In clear language, the court declared the law barring them from doing so unconstitutional and ordered a change in the legislation within six months.
