For nearly 13 years, Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish has been fighting for his three dead daughters. He wants Israel to issue a formal apology for killing them. And he wants compensation.

Next month, this Palestinian doctor’s quest for justice will enter its final stage as the case makes its way to Israel’s highest court. “Don’t kill my daughters again,” he pleads. “Give them life. Give them a human face. Use this as an opportunity to spread hope.”
